    We want to inform you of a special Celebration of Creation Sabbath planned for October 22, 23, 2010, at Pioneer Memorial Church on the campus of Andrews University. The event is sponsored by the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists Faith and Science Council and the Hope Channel.

     

    This Celebration of Creation Sabbath event coincides with Ministry Magazine Creation Sabbath emphasis on October 23, when churches are encouraged to plan a "special worship service in honor of God, our loving Creator."     The Natural Connection Health Food Store's Grand Re-Opening is scheduled for Thursday, April 8th from 11am to 8pm.  The store is located at the Lake Region Conference office, 8517 South State Street, Chicago, IL 60619, 773-846-2661 x106. 

    The goal is to introduce for the first time to some and re-introduce to others the wholesome, quality, and reasonably priced products that promote good physical and spiritual health.  Even if you do not live in the Chicago area, you and others should know that our own Health Food Store is on the rise and looking to be of service to all members of the Lake Region Conference and their communities.  Look for announcements in the future of mail order, internet and other services.

    "Countdown to Eternity"


    The Motor City Elders' Council will be presenting a 10 Day Bible Study on End-Time Events, called "Countdown to Eternity", at the Pontiac Southside SDA Church, 182 S. Sanford Street in Pontiac. The Power Point Presentations were developed by Elder Tim Gardner, and will be only one hour each night beginning October 14 - October 23, 2009, from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. Different elders from the motor city region will present the following topics each night:
